I gained knowledge in this expertise area through creative electronics and creative programming. Through creative programming, I learned how to use Arduino software as well as the processing and how to connect this software with the teensy. Through this, I learned how to create interactive designs. For idea to design, I and my group created a functioning prototype for the demo day which worked on sensors and motors. Further, this software was also used in creative electronics where I, and my teammate built circuits and connected them using the Arduino. During creative electronics, I was introduced to various electrical components and how they can be connected to gain data. The important aspect was realization of the prototype, which highlighted the connectivity, types of actuators and sensors used, and calculated software used to bring them together. However, there hasn't been an opportunity to create and devlop complex circuits as this isn't a priority during the projects.

 

I developed in this since I didn't have prior knowledge about most of these components.I gained knowledge in this expertise area through creative electronics and creative programming. This interested me a lot and I wanted to learn about it more. Further, this software was also used in creative electronics where I, and my teammate built circuits and connected them using the Arduino. During creative electronics, I was introduced to various electrical components and ways to connect in order to gain data. Moreover, working on it individually helped me understand more, with more effeciency and feasibilit. I also joined a student team, where, we were encouraged to electronically code and assemble a spirometer and pulse oximeter for patients recovering at home.
